About the Role
Doosan GridTech currently has an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to join our growing Australian team. Use your contract administration skills to aid the project management team in implementing EPC projects in Australia, in a timely and profitable manner. Working closely with the Contract Manager based in Seattle, Washington State USA, this critical position will help Doosan GridTech translate its contractual obligations into actionable tasks and finally into successful completion of EPC projects.
This position is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Requirements
Tertiary qualified (Business, Science, Engineering, fields preferred).
Qualifications in Contract Administration (preferred), or Construction Management or Engineering are desirable, but not essential
Desired Skills
Strong technical knowledge (civil, electrical or software engineering) as applied to energy industry companies
Responsibilities
Work effectively with clients, project stakeholders, suppliers and subcontractors to maximise service delivery, achieve business costs savings and satisfy client requirements
Maintain a solid understanding of each project in relation to scope, cost, delivery team, scheduling, and other relevant information
Implement and maintain system to administer contracts (standard registers, letters, financial approval limits and supplier KPIs)
Develop and manage Contract Management Plan
Conduct Contract Analysis for risk assessment and contract compliance
Support with preparation & monitoring of project construction programmes
Preparation of Request For Tenders, obtaining quotes and prices from subcontractors and suppliers; ensuring compliance with industry best practice and client requirements
Issue Subcontracting Agreements on each project in a timely manner; Ensure contract compliance by all subcontractors and suppliers
Support subcontractor and supplier relations, including but not limited to, defining scopes of work and performance of efficient application of the change and claim management process
Compliance with key dates on project schedules and milestone payments; Monitor and report on project budgets; Generate monthly progress reports; Undertake document management and implementation administer claims for variations, Ongoing assessment and preparation of progress claims, variation claims and extensions of time
Ensure appropriate project procedures relative to notification, follow-up of, and replies to correspondence, and change/variation orders are properly understood by the members of the Doosan GridTech project team and implemented in the projects
Participate in hand-off from sales to project delivery; administer the project closeout procedure, including lien and lien waivers etc.
Administer warranty and O&M contracts; oversee and/or resolve Guaranty/Warranty specific problems.
