About the Role
Doosan GridTech currently has an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join our growing Australian team. Use your document controlling skills to manage the intake, handling, and storage of documentation to aid the project management team in implementing EPC projects in Australia in a timely and profitable manner. This position is based in Brisbane or Melbourne, Australia.
Please note: Only Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Residency candidates will be considered for this opportunity.
A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Administration, Library management, or similar field is preferred but not essential

Checking and editing documents for accuracy and compliance.
Filing and archiving relevant documentation.
Designing templates for documents, file types, and document databases.
Controlling the flow of project documents.
Reporting errors or developments regarding document storage.
Liaising with and distributing project-related information with the project team and potentially external parties.
Ensuring the secure destruction and disposal of sensitive documents.
Updating and maintaining document management systems and physical records.
Maintaining the security of confidential documents.
Assisting employees with accessing documents.
Basic understanding of construction projects and documentation system
Provide support to Project Manager during Audit and as required.
Prepare ad-hoc templates, reports on projects as required.
Process and control of all project document types on day-to-day basis in an accurate and timely manner.
Communicates changes to document control procedures or other relevant information which have been updated or added to the project team.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documentation.
