About the Role
Doosan GridTech has an outstanding career opportunity for an experienced Construction QA/QC Coordinator to join our growing Australian EPC team.
The role of the generalist QA/QC Coordinator will see you reporting to the National HSEQ Manager, working from our Brisbane office and National project sites, and supporting project delivery.
Use your quality skills to help deliver next-generation distributed energy resource solutions, including energy storage and solar, for the electric power system, and see your solutions deployed with real-world customers who are incorporating distributed energy resources into the grid.
Please note, this position is most suitable for individuals content to work occasionally at remote project sites, Nationally, and office based in Brisbane.
We require strong quality coordination and development skills and experience with projects that focus on coordination and quality control of energy system construction.
Requirements
5+ years of experience working on complex construction projects
Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia.
Desired Skills
Detailed knowledge and experience working with construction of Electrical Transmission & Substation projects, Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Projects.

Responsibilities
Developing and implementing a QA/QC auditing system, aligned with ISO 9001
Developing and reviewing project quality documentation to meet requirements of Doosan GridTech® quality management policy, governing standards and Customer specifications
Coordination and completion of quality control inspections to assess contractor conformance against the required criteria.
Provide technical advice and assistance to the Project team on all quality related activities and support to resolve technical quality issues.
Participate in project governance including the monitoring and reporting of quality KPI performance and conduct investigations into contractor quality related NCR's.
Assist with the production, completion and collation of relevant verification documentation.
Build positive relationships while providing quality services to internal or external Customers.
Liaising with subcontracts and companies providing quality related services and ensuring that they comply with Doosan GridTech® quality standards and requirements.
Providing advice, guidance and support to the Engineering Team and ensuring effective provision of quality services.
Identifying work hazards and advise on safety procedures.
Assist the National HSEQ Manager implementing and maintaining a compliant QA/QC auditing system that will ensure a high level of engineering quality throughout all projects.
