Doosan GridTech has an outstanding career opportunity for a Sales Director to serve as an energy market expert in the East Coast region. The Sales Director will develop and nurture a portfolio of customers to facilitate the growth of the company and its pipeline with the ultimate goal of repeat business always top of mind. The Sales Director will work diligently to understand and address customer requirements to ensure an exemplary customer experience with Doosan's products and services. The Sales Director will serve as an important customer point of contact during all phases of project development from pre-contract through to commissioning and beyond.


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field (energy, engineering, or business disciplines)

  • 5+ years experience in consultative, value proposition-based sales

  • Deep interest in and understanding of utility and energy markets and trends as they pertain to battery energy storage

  • Preference for previous work experience with utilities, IPPs, developers and key commercial/industrial markets

  • Strong preference for prior experience in energy storage

  • Strong baseline understanding of project finance and modeling

  • Prior experience with energy project development and construction preferred


  • Lead efforts to identify sales targets and secure sales for Doosan GridTech energy storage solutions, meeting or exceeding sales volume goals set regularly by Doosan GridTech management

  • Identify and establish relationships with key customer decision-makers

  • Leverage existing relationships of the candidate with key customer decision-makers

  • Develop and implement account strategies based on a sophisticated understanding of customer's needs, Doosan GridTech's value propositions, and competitor solutions

  • Prepare professional quality sales materials and presentations,

  • Price within Doosan GridTech's pricing framework to achieve profitable sales objectives

  • Collaborate effectively with software development, engineering, project management, and legal to secure sales

  • Report regularly on regional customer and market activity detailing customer engagement efforts and market observations to facilitate effective company product and sales strategies

  • Track changes in the energy storage policy landscape to contribute to business development strategies
